Dear Maker
With not long to go now until the Halifax Mini Maker Faire, here are some links to useful bits and bobs of information to help the day run smoothly.

This should tell you everything you need to know about the venue, registration, setting up, parking, tickets etc. If there’s anything we haven’t covered please do drop me an email with your queries and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. Within the Manual you are directed to a number of attachments these are:
- Attachment 1 – list of recommended accommodation in Halifax, should you need it www.eureka.org.uk/mmf1-hotels
- Attachment 2 – Couriers and deliveries form – please complete and return should you wish to make arrangements to have things sent ahead of your own arrival. www.eureka.org.uk/mmf2-deliveries
- Attachment 3 – Loading/unloading permit – please complete, print off and display in your vehicle during set up and break down times www.eureka.org.uk/mmf3-loadingpermit
- Attachment 4 – General risk assessment – please read before the event! www.eureka.org.uk/mmf4-riskassessment
What do I need to do now?
· As soon as you can (and definitely by Fri 22 May) send us a copy of your risk assessment and public liability insurance. If you indicated on your Maker Application that you need assistance with risk assessment, I’ll be contacting you separately.
· Decide how many people you are definitely bringing with you to help with your stand and email us with names by Fri 22 May. We need to know this for catering purposes but also fire regulations.
· Decide if you would like to attend the Maker Social on the Saturday evening, and again let us know numbers by Fri 22 May.
· Let us know of any changes to your exhibit details immediately. So we can ensure our signage is correct and also that we can accommodate your needs.
What’s the next thing Halifax MMF will do?
Once all your exhibit details have been finalised then you’ll soon receive a link to your Maker Participation Agreement. Please complete, sign and return as soon as possible upon receipt. Acceptance of this agreement confirms that you have read the information detailed in the Maker Manual, that you agree to our terms and that we can count on your participation.
Just so you know my working hours are 9.15am – 3pm Mon - Fri, so please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any queries.
