Lathe - Out of order

Hello all,

Unfortunately the lathe will be out of service for a while and it will require replacement of a few small but crucial parts. Please leave it as it is and don't fiddle!

We'll try and get it working again in short order but current bestimate is one to two weeks.

So wow, that was a quicker fix than expected.

Lathe is back in operation again, but you will be required to become proficient in the use of the four-jaw chuck for the time being, and you cannot use the back gear mode.

Planned maintenance for the near future:

• Replacing the stripper spindle back gear
• Replacing the roller bearings
