Just a thought but since there is a Goo printer sitting at site may be we could print some parts to replace the PLA pieces out of resin for better shelf life and stability?
I have noticed some of the gears that have previously been printed are showing a little wear.
Plus we have a mettle lathe or two :p we could mill some connectors out of aluminum?

Come along to the 3d printing meetup :) resin printer currently isn't working, and from what I've seen of resin prints they're easily malleable
