Anybody used APA-102 with Arduino?

Curious how stable it is and would love to know which libraries.

I’m pretty happy with it so far, I added APA102 support to FastLED over the summer, but only recently started using them more. I still have a batch of WS2812’s that I should finish using in projects before I order more leds, but the APA102 is likely to be my workhorse led for the next year or two.

I do need to do a large order to see how length affects data rate though (right now I’ve been able to drive ~300 leds at 12Mhz, curious how far out I can take that. If under 100 leds, I can drive them at 20Mhz)

If you didn't find out already, Adafruit sells them and provides a library now, they call them 'dotstar' https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-dotstar-leds
