So Mitch told me about this at Noisbridge last night:

It's by the guys who had the dome covered in colour-chasing strips at the Burn this year. Looks pretty cool. I think the idea is you should be able to pot it directly into the silicone sleeve of your strips (if all it's going to be doing is running LEDs over SPI, you only need four digital pins, right?)
