Lock map view

Hello,

is there a way to lock Leaflet map view (position and zoom)? So for example when I click on a marker it will not center and zoom on the marker.. just open the popup window?

I would also need possibility to turn on/off this lock when click on button.

Isn't that default behaviour? Can you share a code snippet where you create/open the popup?
