Why QGIS should be part of everyone's GIS quiver

After 15 years as a GIS specialist and database manager for small but growing environmental consulting firms I've become a firm believer that QGIS should be part of everyone's GIS quiver.

Its not perfect. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles that ArcGIS does. There are some things that ArcGIS does better. But what QGIS does, it does very, very, well and for free. This is especially true when you want to dip your toes in the waters of multi-user enterprise level GIS systems and secure web-based interfaces to your data. I'm not ready to abandon ArcGIS yet but I would never want to be without QGIS either. Here is why.

Thats great. Not sure how any of it relates to Leaflet though. Not even a mention of the brilliant qgis2web plugin.

For the record I'm a massive QGIS fan and did find your blog an interesting read.
