Active zone in circleMarker

Hi, I'm using circleMarker. It works fine but with the exception that the mouse needs to be in (I think) the lower half of the circle to respond to a Click. The cursor changes if it's in the top half but it doesn't respond to mouse events.

I can't believe it's a bug that hasn't been spotted yet - any idea what I need to change?

Happens in Chrome browser V58 and Edge both in W10.
