Buffere Existing Tile

Is there a way using LASTile or other to buffer a set of existing tiles without changing the file names?

Interesting question. I have not tried this yet and it may require a minor tweak in the code but try the following on a small example and please report back (cannot check myself at the moment).

lasindex -i tiles_unbuffered/*.laz 

las2las -i tiles_unbuffered/*.laz ^

              -buffered 25 ^

              -odir tiles_buffered -olaz
