Hello Mokafa,

Lasgrid produces rasters either by using the lowest (min), the highest
(max), the average (mean), or the standard deviation of all points
that fall into a grid cell. Instead of outputting the actual values it
is possible to apply a gray ramp ('-gray') or a false color ramp '-
false' to the range of values that is either computed or can be set
with '-set_min_max 20 200' or so. There is a basic support way to fill
small void regions by simple averaging of neighbor cells for grid
cells that do not receive any points with '-fill 1'.

If you want to interpolate LiDAR points using a triangulation you need
to use las2dem or blast2dem instead of lasgrid.

Sorry to reopen such an old topic...

But, what are the default settings used for Lasgrid?(mean, lowest, highest?)

Cheers

Hello,

the default settings are '-step 1' for the resolution and '-lowest' for the operation and '-elevation' for the attribute.
