Our newest product is an open source tool (as open as it can be) aiming to liberate LiDAR points locked-up in the proprietary “Optimized LAS” that is being produced by the "LAZ Clone" of ESRI. The new "LASliberator" comes as both, a DOS command line tool for scripting and with an easy-to-use graphical interface. More info here:
