Absolute values from lasoverlap

Hi -

Can lasoverlap to output difference values (generated with the '-values'
argument) as absolute values? That is, output a difference of -a as a,
and a difference of b as b?

If not, could such a feature be added?

Hello Michael,

such a feature does currently *not* exist. I would think that any raster calculator could easily produce the absolute values in a gridded file. The disadvantage with absolute values is that it's no longer possible to spot horizontal missalignments that usually show themselves as blue and red patterns like you can see it here (check the comments of these images, too):
