Hello,

when using a RIEGL full waveform scanner in conjunction with RiPROCESS or RiANALIZE then it is possible to get additional point attributes such as "normalized reflectivity", "echo width" or "returning peak width", and "pulse shape deviation" values as described here:

As the Trimble Harrier H68 is also using a Q680i under the hood it should be possible to also extract those attributes from the SDF files. Is that possible somehow? With Trimble "Trimble LPMaster" software? Or does one need to license extra modules from RIEGL?

Attached is a lasinfo report for a LAS 1.3 FWF file that contain the waveforms and for which the export of these attributes would be of interest.

Also ... does anyone know if Trimble has plans to support PulseWaves for the export of their full waveforms as well? I hear rumors that after RIEGL and Optech also Leica will soon support PulseWaves as an export format (at least for its AHAB line of sensors).

Regards,

Martin

Hi Martin,

i took a look at the riegl paper. On page 12 you can see a screenshot of the RiProcess Export Dialog. So i guess it is RiProcess that a Trimble customer would need to buy.
