I wanted to pass this on for your benefit. 

This is a great deal. 

I got about 100 last year and was pleased with the crop production.

Cottin's Hardware & Rental will once again be facilitating a group order for organic sweet potato slips from the K-State John C Pair Horticultural Center. The center is offering three varieties:

Orleans (standard orange sweet potatoes)

Bonita (white skin/white flesh)

Murasaki (Purple Skin/white flesh)


Assuming we can hit the optimal order quantities we will be offering slips to our customers at the following rates:

Less than 200 slips:  $0.25 each

200 -  800 slips:  $0.20  each

800 + slips:  $0.16 each

As in the past, we are offering area school gardens up to 100 free slips per school.

Order deadline is April 2, 2018.  The slips should arrive at our store by mid-June.

Order as many or as few of each variety as you would like. No order is too small or too big!

We do ask that the slips are paid for before the first of June to facilitate the distribution process.
