Hello KPC list-serve! I have quite a few fruit trees in the nursery that need new homes. Time is running out to get these transplanted because of the warm weather, first come first serve.

Besides pears, and persimmons I have about 8 plum trees of different varieties. I'll give up these trees for a few dollars if you dig them, the reason being that they have some peach borer on the crown and thus are no longer of salable condition.(you can hand pick the grubs out when transplanting though.)
Here is a table with all the varieties. Tell me what you want and I can get it for you. If you need descriptions for any of these varieties take a look at Raintree nursery, they have a lot of the pears that I have.  Skyler 785 two one eight 7665

And more about the persimmons. . .

Have you ever had persimmons from the Strong Hall Persimmon tree on Jawhawk boulevard? They are a delicious, non-astringent persimmons with few seeds. It is said that it is likely the cultivar Early Golden. The clones of this tree that I have for sale are grafted onto a vigorous seedling rootstock and have fruited in their 4th year after planting. These trees have a 5/8 in. caliper trunk at the base and are ready yo get growing for you. I am digging trees now for customers! It's time to plant! Compared to the 40 dollar cost of persimmons from mail order nurseries, this is a great deal.
