mouseover and mouseout doesn't work poperly

In this project, I have create a google map by using knockout. The issue I have is that when user clicks on the locations from the list at the left marker change the default color as it should do but stays the same. Any idea on how the marker can returns to their default color again? Tried using setTimeout but without success!!
