Move to StackOverflow was a bad idea

I just posted my question on Stack Overflow http://stackoverflow.com/questions/28860915/whats-the-best-way-to-create-a-rainbow-path-and-give-weights-to-vertices-in-kml and lost two reputation points.  So what you're saying is go to StackOverflow and lose reputation for asking questions?  Great!
