Hello,

A new release of Kiwi IRC has been pushed out, version 0.9.4. Thanks to all the developers and
translators that were involved!

There was a bug allowing specific malformed links to execute javascript when clicked. This has been updated on many Kiwi IRC servers already.

Notable changes:
* Updated DE/HE/NL/PL/RO/UK translations
* Full support for the irc:// syntax in browsers
* Extra inspircd user modes now styled in the nicklist
* Now ignoring all punctuation at the end of URLs when clicking on them
* Added support for unicode characters in URLs
* Added streamable.com embeddable messages
* Added support for LetsEncrypt --webroot function
* Many other bug fixes

https://kiwiirc.com/client has been updated and all embedded clients are now successfully taking advantage.

Thank you so much for all the hard work Darren - sometimes it feels like KiwiIRC is the only web client still being actively developed... /me ignores mibbit

When I'd like to update my Kiwi to the latest version, so I just run the install as explained on https://kiwiirc.com/docs/installing again, or is there another way to safely update it?

Kind regards.

If you installed via 'git clone...' and havent changed any of the source files, you should be able to just run 'git pull' to update kiwi. If not using git then you will need to download the new kiwi files and replace your older ones.
Once you have the new files in place, make sure your client is built via './kiwi build' and restart kiwi.

That should get your kiwi instance up and running with the latest.

Hi There! I was wondering if there was documentation on how to use Let's Encrypt for SSL with Kiwi?
