Display on PC vs mobile issues

I'm trying to understand why the screenshot image attached (running Kivy app on my PC) does not copy across well onto my mobile (unnamed.png).  Its like it doesn't want to fill the screen and the red colour-scheme is not being picked up.

If it works when being ran on the PC, why is the buildozer build APK looking like it does?

How things appear on a device is complex. There are resolution, orientation and font density settings which one must consider. The appearance and sizing of your app depends entirely on how your code sizes your app.

As we can't see your code so we can't really say what is happening...
