dpi Incorrect after packaging with Pyinstaller (desparate!)

I'm trying to package a kivy app on osx for osx. The resulting app is not correctly rendering the screen dpi. In the uncompiled app, the dpi is 192, however after packaging, the dpi is logged as 96 and the resulting app is blurry. Anyone have any ideas?
