building a new Mac installer?

I'm finding that the post-1.9 release fixes are important for my app.  For instance, the rounded_rectangle parameter for Line doesn't work in the official 1.9.0 release, and the BorderImage border sizes are inconsistent.  I'd like to build a new Mac installer for Kivy for my users.  Can someone point me to any instructions for doing that?  Or should I try just freezing my app?
