Themes and buildozer

When I replace defaulttheme-0.png in /usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/kivy/data/images It has an effect when testing the app through terminal, but when I use buildozer to build my app, the theme does not take effect on my phone.

How can I make this work?

I think you can make a data/images folder in your app dir, put the theme there and have it automatically work.
