Kivy on Raspberry Pi 3 issues launching windows

Hi,

I'm using Kivy on a Raspberry Pi 3 with Python 2.7.9.

Basically, I'm wondering if having 

[INFO   ] [Text        ] Provider: pygame
[INFO   ] [Window      ] Provider: egl_rpi

is normal on a Raspberry Pi, or if this why my Apps aren't successfully launching.

Kivy doesn't seem to spit out any unexpected errors, it's just the window doesn't launch. 

I've had success watching a sample mp3 using mplayer and SDL2 on the Pi3... I'm wondering if I can somehow make the Provider SDL2 on the Raspberry Pi.
