Error while compiling to android via Buildozer

I've been following a Kivy tutorial and while attempting to compile their example script into Android format with Buildozer, It returns this: https://pastebin.com/mmpYXZEP

Kivy is installed through Apt on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS

Reading through the log, I'm not really sure what's wrong. If you haven't already, you could try cleaning everything just in case there's a problem with one of the downloads, but I don't really expect that to work in this case.
