Hello,

I found the time to update to 1.9.1. The dev environment works fine, but when I update my build environment, buildozer fails to compile ffpyplayer:

building 'ffpyplayer.player.core' extension
arm-linux-androideabi-gcc -DANDROID -mandroid -fomit-frame-pointer --sysroot /home/kivy/.buildozer/android/platform/android-ndk-r9c/platforms/android-14/arch-arm -DNDEBUG -DANDROID -mandroid -fomit-frame-pointer --sysroot /home/kivy/.buildozer/android/platform/android-ndk-r9c/platforms/android-14/arch-arm -fPIC -I/home/kivy/workbd/.buildozer/android/platform/python-for-android/src/jni/sdl/include -I/home/kivy/workbd/.buildozer/android/platform/python-for-android/build/ffmpeg2/ffmpeg-2.7.1/build/ffmpeg/armeabi-v7a/include -I/home/kivy/workbd/.buildozer/android/platform/python-for-android/build/ffpyplayer/master/ffpyplayer -I/home/kivy/workbd/.buildozer/android/platform/python-for-android/build/ffpyplayer/master/ffpyplayer/includes -I/home/kivy/workbd/.buildozer/android/platform/python-for-android/build/python-install/include/python2.7 -c ffpyplayer/player/core.c -o build/temp.linux-x86_64-2.7/ffpyplayer/player/core.o -O3 -fno-strict-aliasing -Wno-error

# raising an issue with buildozer itself.

I did not change anything in the spec file which worked for the 1.9.0 environment. So advise how to fix this, would be appreciated....

Thanks

#    List as sections
#
#    You can define all the "list" as [section:key].
#    Each line will be considered as a option to the list.
#    Let's take [app] / source.exclude_patterns.
#    Instead of doing:
#
#[app]
#source.exclude_patterns = license,data/audio/*.wav,data/images/original/*
#
#    This can be translated into:
#
#[app:source.exclude_patterns]
#license
#data/audio/*.wav
#data/images/original/*
#

#    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
#    Profiles
#
#    You can extend section / key with a profile
#    For example, you want to deploy a demo version of your application without
#    HD content. You could first change the title to add "(demo)" in the name
#    and extend the excluded directories to remove the HD content.
#
#[app@demo]
#title = My Application (demo)
#
#[app:source.exclude_patterns@demo]
#images/hd/*
#
#    Then, invoke the command line with the "demo" profile:
#
#buildozer --profile demo android debug

Have you tried deleting the python-for-android folder and letting buildozer re-download it? If ffplayer has been updated following changes in kivy, and you haven't done something like this, you'd still have the old (incompatible) version.

Hi ,

I need to pick this up again. I didn't sorted this out on the first post. I did rebuild the build environment from scratch, but still the same issue

ffpyplayer/player/core.c: In function '__pyx_f_10ffpyplayer_6player_4core_10VideoState_stream_component_open':
ffpyplayer/player/core.c:20361:56: error: 'AV_CODEC_FLAG2_FAST' undeclared (first use in this function)
       __pyx_v_avctx->flags2 = (__pyx_v_avctx->flags2 | AV_CODEC_FLAG2_FAST);
                                                        ^
ffpyplayer/player/core.c:20361:56: note: each undeclared identifier is reported only once for each function it appears in
ffpyplayer/player/core.c:20389:51: error: 'AV_CODEC_CAP_DR1' undeclared (first use in this function)
       __pyx_t_3 = ((__pyx_v_codec->capabilities & AV_CODEC_CAP_DR1) != 0);
                                                   ^
error: command 'arm-linux-androideabi-gcc' failed with exit status 1

Can somebody confirm, that he is able to use buildozer with pyplayer?
