Need to be able to zoom and pan a canvas with about 1 million objects

Hello all,

I need to be able to zoom and pan a canvas with about 1 million objects which can handle mouse event. Do you think kivy can handle this? My code could handle 20k ellipses but crashed after adding 25k. Please, suggest any packages that can handle this. Any advice will be helpful.
