Hi everyone,

Today is a great day. The Python Software Foundation (PSF) accepted our
5000$ grant request for porting Kivy to Python 3.3. Thanks a lot to PSF!

It's quite a big job, but so far we will:
- port the codebase to Python 3.3
- update python-for-android and Kivy ios for supporting Python 3.3
- update our portable package (Windows and OSX) to Python 3.3
- fixes some required dependencies (as pygame) to run perfectly on
Python 3.3.
- update all others projects from the kivy organisation.

We'll create a p3k-support branch in almost all the project we need to,
and work on it.

So far, we have not enough vision to know if Kivy will be splitted in 2
code base or not, and how we'll manage the transition. Don't expect to
have anything ready for 1.5.

The Python 3.3 team is composed of Gabriel, Akshay, Thomas and I.

Nice. Keep in mind I already started some of the porting effort, so maybe what I've already done can be used? (I need to merge changes from master still).

PS, that wasn't a request to be added as part of the porting as a) i haven't the time, and b) I'm sure you guys are more than capable. Rather, I was saying to have a look at my py3 branch to see if it's further along than you guys are.
