Is there any explanations about the name of 'kivy' and the meaning of kivy logo?

Hi, everyone, I am not good at English, I find kivy is quite close to kiwi, but I am not sure wether there is any relationship between them? Can someone tell me the 'kivy' origin and also what does the logo mean? Thank you in advance! :)
