 I am new to Junaio  having worked previously in Layar.

I am looking for a simple URL that will launch or relaunch a  particular channel and also reload it.

 Part of a URL line given with the NEWS-junaio_dev-oct_2011-001_1.html  newsletter gets very close to doing this but unfortunately does not load all the POIs:

<junaio://channel/switchChannel/?id=134493>

 I need the refresh because I will also use this URL to come back from a  separate upload application and I will want viewers to see the new Image substitutions.

Hi Will,

I think

junaio://channels/?id=XXXXXXX

is good for both iPhone and Android.

junaio://channel/switchChannel/?id=XXXXXX does not work on Android ;(

Hi Will,

there is a bug in the current iOS version of junaio, that it will not load the POIs if junaio was started from scratch. (if it was running in the background it will work).

However, we have submitted a fix a week ago to Apple, which will fix this problem.

Cheers,
Stefan

Thanks for the help here!  I tested some of these out on my recent iPad, iPhone 4 and HTC Android

junaio://channels/    is the only thing I've found that works with iPad, iPhone 4 to bring the APP junaio back with the  same channel loaded (also will launch the application but not to a specific channel obviously). It does not however refresh which would be nice for what I wanted to.

junaio://channels/?id=XXXXXXX junaio brought back APP junaio but with incomplete model loading

 variations of these on the HTC Android  will launch and bring back junaio but not to a specific channel.

URL Linking  to your particular Channel I have found with AR is super important to getting people to where you want to go fast without too many steps.  If a user does not have junaio  installed then a prompt at this point is also important. It will be great when this works for both IOS and android. But imagine I am preaching to the crowd!

Hi Will,

the latest update to the iOS version of junaio should fix this problem. Can you please give it another try?

Thanks,
Stefan

Hi Stefan again, I still cant get the reload Channel, even if I use this JS code which I found here (http://www.junaio.com/develop/docs-api-10/intents-and-linking/)

var junaioLink = "junaio://channels/?id=136404"

        function startJunaio(){
            window.location = junaioLink;
        }

Thanks

Jirka
