Interesting new language called Pony. Possible inspiration for concurrency features in Julia

I've just discovered the Pony language http://ponylang.org/

It seems like they drew inspiration from languages like Erlang, Rust mainly and Python for syntax & some ML-family functional stuff. 

I thought it might be worthwhile to check out if you don't know it already. Maybe some good ideas for concurrency/parallelism.

It's an interesting language but extremely different from Julia.
