Jplayer doesn't play next song when tab is not in focus (only in Safari 5)

Hi guys, we've implemented jplayer in our website at www.jam.vn
Everything works fine except in Safari 5, when the tab containing
jplayer is not in focus (user's viewing in a different tab), jplayer
doesn't play the next song in the playlist. I've searched the web for
a solution to no avail. Please help me fix this. I tested out a few
sites that used jplayer listed on its homepage and the same problem
occurs only in Safari 5. Thanks ahead for any suggestions!

You'd have to ask Apple to change their Safari browser.
They do this as a power save feature, since normally the tab is hidden so there is no point having all the JavaScript running and consuming CPU and battery when you are not using the page.
Unfortunately, there is no way I know of to get round this problem, other than to keep your music in the main tab.
You are not the first to report the problem on Safari.

Thanks for your reply, actually we managed to fix this problem by
forcing Safari to use flash. It seems like the only solution as of
now.
By the way, it's great that we could use jplayer in our site www.jam.vn,
your work's much much appreciated. We're launching version 2.0 in a
few hours, please check it out!
