Is this a bug in jOOQ 3.6.3?

I cannot generate my POJO files in v3.6.3 because there seems to be an invalid regular expression that does not compile (see [1]).

Is this a bug or am I using it wrong?

Thank you for reporting. Yes, this is a known regression in jOOQ 3.6.3 for Java versions < 8:
