Custom fields on Joomla 3.6?

Hi guys,

I heard custom fields feature for article and user coming on 3.6? Anywhere I can find more details?

We are also working on a advanced custom fields component right now and MVC done already.

Hi

The plan is to include DPFields into Joomla 3.6. It uses a different approach than yours. It will be integrated into a component like for example com_categories and uses JForm to modify to add the fields. More information can be found here https://joomla.digital-peak.com/products/dpfields. As soon as development for 3.6 has started I will create a PR and discussions can be started there. In the meantime any feedback on Github is welcome https://github.com/Digital-Peak/DPFields.
