Hi all,

I've rewrited my Breeding Component for Joomla 3.4 and 3.5 (testing period).

Installation is ok and all the component functionnalities work fine, BUT I still get a Warning Install message with this new version.

 • I checked that all the directories references in the xml manifest are present in the package,
 • Joomla /tmp directory is writable (install of all directories FEnd and BEnd are ok),
 • Apache err_log do not tell more than 'Warning JFolder: :folder: Path is not a folder. Path: /var/www/html/joomla345/tmp/install_564ed0f87f83f/extensions'
that make me crazy, i don't know what to do more ...
If some coders have idea about this issue ...

Well I'll have a crack at this since it was from yesterday.

I had the same problem in an extension where I was using the install script to install other plugins and components at the same time.  The installer had already installed and removed the files but in the install script I tried to access them again the postInstall stage.

I don't know if you're doing something similar.

Eric.

my issue concerns the component install only. Normaly, the "install/update" do not remove any files and nothing special in the PostInstall, I just set a custom END_MESSAGE_INSTALL ...

this warning message comes when there is a missing directory, but in my case, the install is successfull, all is ok. So I am still looking for ...
