Jomla Platform clases vs Joomla\CMS\MVC

Hello,
I have asked the same question on general development but I had no answer, so I posted here also.

I make components using JModelBase, JControllerBase, JViewHtml etc classes.
Now I see in the api that there are Joomla\CMS\MVC\* classes.
Are JModelBase, JControllerBase etc classes going to be deprecated?
Should I start changing my code?

Hello,

Yes, you should start using the namespaced classes as far as they are available. They are production ready since Joomla 3.8.0.

Do you also if the platform classes eg JControllerBase are going to be deprecated?
