Isn't it memcacheD when using php 7?

Yes I was copying it from a wrong output we received from client.... I
repost when I have all clear.... Thanks that helped open my eyes...
Simply overlooked that :)

Memcache nor Memcached have stable PHP 7 builds yet.  Likewise, JCache doesn't catch exceptions if it tries using a non-supported cache driver (there's a PR for that...).

If you work on php5 you can also test related PR for new memcache storage:
https://github.com/joomla/joomla-cms/pull/10565

It improve performance for big sites with a lots of cache.
