Hi all

Since Jean Marie-Simonet stepped down from being the leader of our Translation Team WG, I'm now glad to announce that Ilagnayeru (MIG) Manickam will try to fill those big shoes JM left and takes over the lead of the group.

He is part of the working group for a long time and was already helping JM a lot with the tasks. He is also the language coordinator for the tamil language pack.
So he was an obvious choice and we're glad he is willing to take that responsibility.

So if you have any questions about translation Joomla and creating translation packs, feel free to approach Mig.

Kind regards
Thomas Hunziker

Oh MIg, We meet often at the forums and taking such an important role over from a Legend (JM) is a huge Task. I wish you good luck in that role and thanks for stepping in!

This is sad & Good News at the same time. Jean help me personally all along those years and I owe him a part of my knowledge in building multilingual web site with Joomla. I’m already extremely please with Joomla onboard powerful multi language. The internal multi lingual system his a big part to insure the top CMS position for Joomla.

Thanks Jean-Marie !
