Who we are:  We are using math to help elect Democrats up and down the ticket.  Some of us are former organizers, some of us dropped out of college, but all of us are passionate about using data and quantitative methods to help change the world.

Who you are:  You like to answer important questions with data. You rarely close Excel. You’ve spent hours digging in Votebuilder. You love a good puzzle. You skip to the methodology section of a poll before you read the toplines. You want to be a member of a team that works hard every day on something that really matters.

What you’ll do: You’ll create reports, establish metrics, and use data to identify trends and forecast outcomes.  You’ll use data visualization and your strong writing skills to communicate with non-technical audiences.  You’ll train your coworkers how to use data tools to work more efficiently and effectively. You’ll work with a crew of passionate, committed people who want to change the world.

Must Haves: Experience using numbers & data to solve problems. Strong analytical mindset. Experience using Excel. Enthusiasm for working collaboratively on teams.  Ability to keep a cool head under pressure.  Ability to distinguish between assumptions and facts.  Strong attention to detail.

Nice to Haves: Field organizing experience. VAN administration experience. Proficiency in writing SQL queries independently. Experience using GIS applications like QGIS or ArcGIS.  Experience using data visualization tools like Tableau. Experience working with relational databases.  Experience using software like R, Stata, or Python.

To Apply: Send resumes to eep...@iavictory2016.org with "Deputy Data Director" in the subject line.
