Baltimore Mayoral Campaign Seeks Field Organizers

A Baltimore mayoral campaign is seeking energetic and enthusiastic field organizers to start immediately for the April 2016 Democratic mayoral primary election. Organizers will be responsible for:

Recruiting and training volunteers.
Organizing door-to-door canvasses, phone banks, and other voter outreach efforts.
Representing campaign at community events.
Assisting with campaign visibility.
Serving as first point of contact between the campaign and community.
Working with local elected officials and Democratic constituency groups.
Other duties as required.

Experience Preferred:

One campaign cycle as a field organizer, intern, or volunteer.
Willingness to work odd and irregular hours.
Access to a laptop, and cell phone.
Positive attitude and a willingness to be part of a team.
Experience in Democratic campaigns a PLUS.

Salary and Benefits:

Commensurate with experience.
Health insurance.
Certain expenses reimbursed.

Other: Field Organizers will report to Deputy Field Director and Field Director.
