JOB: State Digital Director (Ohio)

SUMMARY:
NextGen Climate is currently seeking highly creative, results-driven, digital experts to serve on the ground in states where we are running active campaigns as digital directors.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with state campaign leadership team to develop and execute a digital strategy that hits state and national campaign goals
- Conceptualize, execute, and lead email programs in support of state campaigns
- Manage state products and web, social, email, SMS platforms in coordination with the NextGen Climate digital team in San Francisco
- Capture high quality multimedia of in-state actions and events and turn into effective and memorable digital content
- Lead the use of Facebook, Twitter and other social platforms in telling the story of in-state grassroots efforts
- Create, manage, and maintain content schedule for email, web, social, and ad campaigns
- Other duties as required
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- A bachelor’s degree
- Demonstrated professional experience in digital marketing or campaigns generating memorable and highly shared content
- Excellent writing and creative chops with a strong portfolio of work
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS, content management systems such as WordPress and advocacy
- CRMs such as Blue State Digital, Convio, or Salsa
- Experience with digital ad campaigns is a major plus
- Excellent organizational skills, a strong work ethic and demonstrate consistent attention to detail
