Targeted Incumbent State Senate Campaign is looking for a full-time Digital Director ​to assist in implementing the communications plan. The Digital Director will report to the Campaign Manager and is responsible for creating and implementing a multi-platform digital program to reach and engage voters where they are. The ideal candidate is someone who is versatile, thinks outside-the-box and is a self-starter. The candidate should be highly skilled with digital software and media tools and be genuinely passionate about creating high-quality content and generating grassroots enthusiasm about the campaign.

 

Responsibilities:

● Creating and executing multi-platform social media engagement plan that includes Facebook Live, curated videos, optimized graphics for different social media platforms and boosted as well as sponsored posts and advertisements.

● Creating an expansive email outreach program to build grassroots support, recruit volunteers, arm supporters with talking points and campaign updates, drive media narratives and recruit for events.

● Implementing and troubleshooting new digital platforms including, but not limited to, Voter Circle and Hustle.

 

Qualifications:

● Ability to self-manage, multitask, and prioritize in a fast pace environment.

● Experience with evolving social media platforms and related metrics.

● Ability to oversee the daily operation of social media campaigns.

● Willingness to work long campaign hours, including nights and weekends.

● Experience with photography, film or web design is a plus.
