Chicago Area Suburban Congressional Campaign Seeking Bilingual Field Organizer

A Chicago Area Congressional Campaign is seeking Field Organizers to work on a competitive congressional race for the 2016 cycle. The Field Organizer will be responsible for recruiting, training, and managing volunteers. The organizer will also be responsible for Spanish language outreach. The field organizer will manage and execute voter contact tactics such as phone banks, canvasses, voter registration drives, and visibility events. The field organizer will report directly to the regional field director and field director and they are responsible for meeting daily goals.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Fluent in Spanish
  
• Management ability
  
• Organizational skills and ability to meet goals and strict deadlines;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Position will be based in the Northern Suburbs of Chicago.;
• Frequent travel within Congressional district is required;
• Commitment to electing Democrats;
• Other duties as needed;
• High attention to detail
• Must have a vehicle for transportation.
