Hiring Immediately: Campaign Manager in New York

BrownMillerGroup is hiring a Campaign Manager to manage a Democratic campaign for a State Legislative race in New York, beginning immediately through the September Primary

A successful candidate will be a dynamic individual possessing a breadth of campaign management experience and demonstrating a range of professional skills.  S/he will be passionate about building and running people-powered campaigns.

Responsibilities Will Include: 

Managing a staff

Managing a campaign budget

Assisting in fundraising

Working directly with the candidate and other stake holders to implement the campaign plan

Direct all campaign communications, including working closely with the press

Required Skills and Qualities:

Demonstrated experience with the responsibilities above and demonstrated possession of the required skills and qualities below…

The proven ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, multi-task and prioritize work effectively

Work long and irregular hours

At least 2 cycles of political campaign experience

Familiarity with campaign software (i.e. VAN)

** Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, or Korean language fluency a plus, but not required for consideration.
