Coding a build step through the post build script

Hi,

I use the PostBuildScript plugin to run regular build steps as post build steps.  For example, I run envinject in post build to inject environment variables that I later use in email-ext.  Is there a way to reuse the regular build step constructs post build steps that run through the PostBuildScript?  This would be much better than using a configure block.
