I have succeeded running slaves on both XP and Windows 7 64-bit. On
Vista Home edition I cannot figure out how to get past
org.jinterop.dcom.common.JIException.

1 - I have read the wiki.
https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/JENKINS/Windows+slaves+fail+to+start+via+DCOM
2 - Disabled the Windows Firewall
3 - Remote registry service is started

Any advice is much appreciated.
