I'm seeing new diagnostic output on several different machines running Hudson
since I updated to 1.395.

Machines which have shown these types of messages from the master server
include:

- Windows Server 2008 x64
- Debian i386
- Debian AMD64

The message is:

I'm seeing the same thing on two OSX 10.6.5 build machines. My tomcat
catalina.out logs have been over 40GB per day since upgrading!

We're also experiencing this issue after upgrading to 1.395. Looks
like it was already fixed in JmDNS 3.2.2 (see
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=3085234&group_id=93852&atid=605791).
However, I see that jmdns-3.2.1-hudson-1.jar is bundled with Hudson
1.395.

Has this issue already been reported into Hudson's issue tracker?

Folks,

I think I found a workaround: we can disable Hudson auto-discovery
over DNS multicast passing hudson.DNSMultiCast.disabled=true system
property, see http://wiki.hudson-ci.org/display/HUDSON/Features+controlled+by+system+properties

Regards,
Maksim
