Hi folks,

What I'm looking for in a new book to add to my digital bookshelf is something that will expand my knowledge (very sketchy at the moment) of Pipelines in Jenkins.  In particular creating libraries to extend Pipelines.

I've run into few things that I just cannot figure out by reading what's on line for this subject.

How well does "Mastering Jenkins" by Jonathan McAllister cover those two topics above?

There was an interesting talk about Pipelines as Code in the last JW2017:

In fact, the speaker wrote a book about it: Jenkins 2 - Up and Running : Evolve Your Deployment Pipeline for Next Generation Automation

There are more talks from this year which are IMO a must to watch, since it's not just about coding but also what's coming and what's the impact of using them massively :

IMO, since Pipeline and its environment its quite dynamic, and there are more features every often and then, I'd rather encourage you, if you have not done it yet, to look at: https://jenkins.io/doc/book/pipeline/ and https://github.com/jenkinsci/pipeline-examples

Cheers
