The following commit seems to have broken functionality. This can be seen when clicking "Test Connection" from the Configuration screen---You'll receive an "Invalid System URL" error.

This doesn't just break the Test Connection button. You can't configure a scan since it can't connect to populate the dropdowns for Team and Preset.

This prevents us (I imagine anyone) from updating to this version of the plugin, since it makes the Checkmarx plugin unusable. We're stuck on 7.x till it's fixed, unless anyone knows of a workaround

Downgrade to Checkmarx plugin v8.0.1 (previous version). It is available from Checkmarx download site: https://www.checkmarx.com/plugins/.

Is there any plan to fix this?

I am trying to modify the maximum upload size https://github.com/jenkinsci/checkmarx-plugin/blob/master/src/main/java/com/checkmarx/jenkins/CxConfig.java#L27. However, with the bug which breaks the ability to authenticate to Jenkins, I am unable to change this on the most up to date commit. I will revert to the commit before this was broken and modify the upload size.

The latest commit is for yet-to-be released version of CxSAST. Please revert back to a previous tag.

Hello,

I have been facing the similar issue, since I have upgraded to checkmarx 8.0. I have tried all the versions of checkmarx plugin but still am facing the same issue.

Can some one please help me out with this?

We have faced similar issue and I have fixed it by reverting the version to 7.5. I have upgraded the checkmarx plugin to 8 which started causing this issue. You have to manually download the 7.5 version from the archive and overwrite the same and restart the Jenkins server will fix the problem.

You can drop a note here if issue still persists.

Appears to still be broken in our Jenkins environment.
It seems odd that they have released multiple updates to this plugin, but have not fixed this issue.

Are these new versions working for anyone?

Caleb Chenoweth, which commit are you attempting to build?  Their release path is not linear, which makes for some messy upgrades if you're running custom builds.

I am on version 8.1.0-2, and it is working correctly.
If I upgrade to newer version (right now is shows 8.41.0 as newest) I get the error as described in this issue.

I played around and it seems the newer versions of the plugin are not backward-compatible with older versions of CxSAST.

In my experience, running CxSAST v8.4.1 with plugin v8.41.0 appears to be without error.  This was not the case when CxSAST v8.0.1 was installed.

That said — They could possibly add that backward compatibility in future versions by disabling the newer functionality, but i bet they'll encourage users to upgrade

Thanks for the insight!

The Checkmarx server we are connected to is controlled by another team in our company.
So we are not able to control upgrades to that server.
We should be fine just staying on the older version of the plugin.
(Just wanted to know why it wasn't working.  Didn't realize our checkmarx version was out of date.)
