Hi,

I apologise for the late action...

There's one additional issue with Jenkins queue, which causes a deadlock. I was unable to create the issue timely due to JIRA outage and then I and Stephen have forgotten about it. BTW I've created this issue today: https://issues.jenkins-ci.org/browse/JENKINS-30080

For me it seems to be a serious regression in 1.607.x, which impacts Cloud Provisioners (it has been discovered in the wild). It can be definitely reproduced in 1.609.3-RC.

I propose to consider the backporting of https://github.com/jenkinsci/jenkins/pull/1785 or https://github.com/jenkinsci/jenkins/pull/1777 to 1.609.x branch. I know it needs a serious discussion due to the 2-weeks policy and the RC re-spin need.

Thanks in advance,
Oleg

I guess mean 2015-09-02?

But that is in the middle of JUC West. There is no way KK could be
cutting releases that day or the next. Should we assume that it gets
pushed out a few days?

We discussed this during the last meeting. See logs from 18:53:45 on:
http://meetings.jenkins-ci.org/jenkins/2015/jenkins.2015-08-19-18.03.log.html

I brought up the effect of skipping that meeting on the LTS schedule. In the end we (including KK) decided to have the next meeting, which includes LTS status check (+ release) and next LTS baseline selection during JUC.
