Being part ot the JavaFXPorts community, taking benefit from the project and the knowledge and time of many people, we think it's the time to return back our efforts and release the full code of the 2048FX app that you can find on Google Play and Apple Store.

Here you will find the full project we have developed for the most recent version 1.0.4 available in both stores:

https://github.com/jperedadnr/Game2048FX

It makes use of jfxmobile-plugin version 1.0.0-b9-SNAPSHOT and Gluon-Charm-Down version 0.0.2-SNAPSHOT, so it's up to the last versions available as of today.

Many of you have already done some applications that run on your mobiles on development mode, so for those of you thinking of submitting them to the stores, on the repo you will find the extra ingredients required.

Feel free to fork it, clone it, or even star it ;)

Thanks JavaFXPort team for making this possible.

Jose Pereda & Jens Deters.

Thanks, great reference project.
I have tried out the app from iOS store and I am impressed by the start-up speed on my old iPad 2.
Might it be possible to reduce the size of app? Maybe using proguard - although this post does not read very promising:
Maybe jdk9 will solve this sooner or later.

Thanks for the nice feedback!
Reducing the app size is objective for the next release.
